Doxorubicin is an anthracycline antibiotic with a broad spectrum of activity in human neoplasms. However, this agent may cause, frequently, irreversible congestive left ventricular failure.

A comparative study was retrospectively performed with 1220 strains of staphylococcus aureus
isolated from out-patients and in-patients at Kosin Medical Center from Jan. 1986 to Aug. 1989, in
